AGA KHAN LEADS OWNERS Eleven Horses Earn Total of 43,000 During the English Season. The Aga Khan leads the list of winning owners this year on the English turf, Charleys Mounts victory in the Cesarewitch bringing his winnings in seventeen races with eleven horses up to" 43,000. Among other important races won by his horses were the Two Thousand Guineas with Diophon, the St. Deger with Salmon Trout, and the Jockey Club Stakes with Teresina. Lord Derby comes second in the table, eighteen of his horses annexing thirty-one races to the value of 30,000. His two best winners have been Sansovino, the easy Derby victor, and Pharos, which won the Liverpool Cup, Duke of York Handicap and the Champion Stakes in successive outings. Solly Joel, thanks chiefly to the Eclipse winner, Polyphontes, is third with 28,000. Sir E. Hultbn 27,000 fourth. Lord Woo-lavington 19,000 fifth, and Lord Rose-berry 13,000 sixth. The largest amount won by an owner in one season was 73,857, by the Duke of Portland in 1889.
