RELENTLESS took the lead quickly and easily won all the way. RIP was running fast at the eleventh jump when compelled to lose ground in avoiding the fallen OWEN TUDOR, then finished well, but could not cut down the leaders big margin. WARRENTON jumped well, but tired. OWEN TUDOR was running well when he landed badly at the eleventh jump and fell. SAN DIMAS fell at the third jump. Overweights San Dimas, 3 pounds. Won driving; second and third the same. DUSKY BELLE began well and was shuffled back, but gained steadily on the outside under restraint and won with her rider sitting still. VIVANDIERE raced close up throughout, but tired near the end. TAUDLANE set a good pace, but gave way when challenged. EYELASH raced well, but tired slightly after reaching the stretch. CARTHAGE was away badly, but closed a big gap and finished fast. SLATE ran prominently to the stretch. GOLDPIECE showed high speed in fast pacemaking, but tired in the final drive. CYCLOPS held the ethers safe at all times and fnshed fast and gamely. SINGLE FOOT raced close up under slight restraint for the first three-quarters, then worked his way up on the outside and raced into a clear lead in the last sixteenth. YOUNG MARTIN was much used in racing CANDY KID into defeat and tired, but ran a good race and finished gamely. PRIMROSE closed a big gap and finished with a rush. BATTLE FIELD also made up much ground and finished fast and should have been third. SENALADO and CAMPFIRE TALES began slowly and raced wide all the way. BY niSSELF stumbled and went- to his knees at the start. BEATRICE was eased up at the end. CANDY KID set a good pace to the last eighth and tired.
