CHARLES WELLS showed speed and tired. MUSKALLONGE set the early pace and quit. HANDS UP quit badly after showing speed for a half mile. SPANISH NAME worked her way up on the inside and outgained SANDRAE in the final strides. The latter raced close up from the start and came again in the final eighth. ZERO HOUR raced into the lead and quit badly in the final eighth. WKACKLANE ran well. REVOKE could not get up. TRANSFORMER ran well to the stretch. BILL WINFREY, CATHLEEN NI HOULIHAN and WONDER LIGHT had no chance at the start.
