WINS NOVEMBER HANDICAP Cloudbank Takes Feature at Manchester Beresford Stakes to Precious Flat Season Ends. SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON, Eng., Xov. 22. J. Whites Cloudbank was winner of the November Handicap at Manchester this afternoon from W. M. G. Singers Daimyo with J. H. Hulls False Alarm saving third and C. Greens Vandricourt finished fourth. There were seventeen starters and the race was run during such a heavy fog that nothing could be seen of the runners until three-eighths from the finish. Cloudbank carried 107 pounds, was ridden by Beary and his margin of victory over Daimyo was three lengths. Daimyo carried 10S pounds, was the favorite and was ridden by McLachlan. False Alarm carried 112 and was ridden by Ferryman and was one of the outsiders. Lady Cunliffe Owens Precious was winner of the Beresford Stakes, while Tunis, by Brown Prince, was winner of the Sedgeley Handicap. At Lingfield today Hanovian, a son of John Sanfords Nassovian, was winner of the Finale Handicap, the big two-mile feature of the program. With the Lingfield meeting today, the flat racing season in England came to a conclusion. Elliott finished the leading jockey of the year, with Son-in-Law the leading stallion.
