SLATE was taken back after setting the early pace and also came fast through the stretch, but tired in the final sixteenth. ROSE CLOUD was rushed into a long lead on the last turn, but tired. GEORGE DE MAR closed a big gap. AUNT AGGIE raced well. KIRKFIELD quit after going three-quarters. DUSKY BELLE was always outrun. CANT SAY NO quit when called on.
