Won driving; second and third the same. SUPER LADY gradually improved her position while racing on the outside and, challenging the pacemaker when an eighth out, outstayed her at the end. MISS snASTA began fast and showed the most speed nearly all the way, but tired when challenged by the winner. DONITA made up ground Bteadily and finished gamely. DELHI GIRL showed some improvement. WILTRUDE WOOD began slowly and was pinched back shandy shortly after the start, but saved ground on the last turn and finished with a rush. MOUNTAIN OAKS raced forwardly and gamely throughout. MISS OMOND ran a good half mile, but tired from racing with MOUNTAIN OAKS. PIROUETTE made up some ground. KIRKWOOD gained rapidly on the outside and made a challenge at the eighth post, but was tiring at the end. FERNANDOS ran well and finished gamely. LUCKY HAYS tired after showing speed to the stretch. KEALA began slowly, but was rushed up on the outside and ran a good race. WILD THOUGHTS was in closest pursuit to the last eighth, but had a rough race and tired. NIZAM was forced to race wide almost throughout and also ran a good race. HARUIGANS HEIR showed -the most speed to the stretch, but tired when challenged. Won driving; second and third the came. IRISn BUZZER showed the most speed from the start and setting a fast pace, finished gamely and withstood the rush of ODD SETH. The latter followed the winner persistently throughout and was gradually wearing him down in the last eighth. BARN DOLLAR was poorly ridden and, when called on at the eighth post, swerved in behind ODD SETH. SWEETGRASS was away well and next to the rail until in the final eighth, where he was taken out, but could not close up any ground. SIXTH RACE l Mile. Jan. 20, 1924 1:37 5 90. EMINENT, favored by light weight, suddenly improved and close up from the start, saved ground on the turns and, coming fast after entering the stretch, passed POSTILLION at the eighth post and won going away. POSTILLIONS rider was not alert at the start and lost his position when he tried to slip through next to the rail, but the filly raced to CANO on the back stretch and easily passed him on the last turn, but could not withstand the winners rush. CANO set a fast pace and easily outstayed BATSMAN in the final drive. The latter tired badly. SASPER was devoid of speed MY DADDY again quit. Overweights Batsman, 1 pound; My Daddy, 5. YORKSHIRE RELISH acted fractious at the post, but raced well and finished close up. LOTnAIR came from a long way back, but was beaten off. AESPER BELLS quit badly after running a good five-eighths.
