JEFFERSON PARK NOTES E. J. Salt is an arrival from Maryland, with the aged horse Our Birthday. Sam Louis, well-known owner and trainer, arrived Tuesday from his home in Kansas City, Mo. Jockey Cooper was suspended for five days for rough riding by the stewards in the sixth race. After Sequel finished second on Saturday, December 13, J. B. McGinn, who finished fourth witli Maude Harvey, protested second money going to Sequel on the ground that she should have carried 103 pounds instead of 100. The stewards allowed the protest. Second money was awarded to Peter Piper and third money to Maude Harvey.
