RAN-DOLlH raced well, but tired in the stretch.. SCAMPER made up a little ground and came from far back. KRUTER, from a slow start, raced well to the stretch and tired. MISS CALTHA quit. BARRISKANE showed the most speed in the going and rare gameness and, racing into the lead ; on the back stretch, raced EYE BRIGHT into defeat and outfinished MARTHA L. The latter was 1 badly outrun for a half mile, then made up ground rapidly on the outside and came very wide into the stretch anil made a game, but tiring, finish. TORSIDA was favored by the going and, racing closer . than usual, finished fast. EYE BRIGHT raced into the lead and tired. PEMBROKE ran poorly. NIZAM set a good pace from the start and tired after reaching the home stretch. YORKSHIRE RELISH was fractious at the post and had a rough race, but took the lead in the stretch before tiring. REARDON, running throughout in the middle of the track, followed the pace- makers to the far turn, from where he moved np and, getting to the leaders when a sixteenth out, proved gamest in the final drive. EASTER BELLS set a fast pace, but could not withstand the winners 1 final rush. KNIGHTHOOD raced forwardly and saved ground when turning for home, but tired and 1 just lasted totsave third place. COEUR DE LION seemed unable to run freely in the going, but made 1 up some ground through the stretch and barely failed to get up for third place. HILARITY raced into a good lead and drevr away when turning for home, but her rider permitted her to shorten her stride when a sixteentli out, which nearly cost her the race, as she barely lasted to withstand the rush of REDSKIN. The latter was outpaced for the first half mile and finished with a -sensational rush in the middle of the track.
