AVOODIE MONTGOMERY and PROCLAMATION ran gamely throughout. MISS SnASTA showed speed for a quarter and quit. ROMULUS was saved close up to the stretch, then moved up on the last turn and under a good ride through the entire last quarter wore FULL O FUN down and was drawing clear. FULL O FUN raced through the deep going and, racing into the lead on the back stretch, fought it out gamely, but could not withstand the winners rush. MY DADDY followed the pacemaker closest in the deep going .and tired when seeming to have a good chance when a sixteenth out. HYANPOM was far back to the half, from where he gained rapidly, but swerved to the inside and tired in the deep going next to the rail. IRISH BUZZER ran well and finished gamely. TIM 13 EXPOSURE set a fast pace, but was no match for the winner when challenged. FREEBOOTER ran a good race and finished fast. DEPUTY raced in closest pursuit to the stretch and quit. PAULA SnAY followed the pacemakers for a half, then passed TRACER before turning for home, and with rider taking things easy and the mare shortening her stride, was uaible to rally when the winner challenged unexpectedly. BRYNDEAB was pinched back early and forced into the deep going, then gained steadily, but had no chance. LENA AVOOD closed a big gap while on the outside. CA..UTK swerved at the rise of the barrier and was as good as left, but was gradually taken up to the ethers and then was saved to the half, where he was sent along when FRANK FOGARTY attempted "to steal the race and, catching the latter on the last turn, quickly raced I.im into defeat and drew away to win as his rider pleased. GLANMORE tired. from setting the pace, hut stayed gamely after appearing well beaten and passed FRANK FOGARTY." The latter may have been rushed up prematurely, but could not have beaten the winner.
