The sprinp meeting at Havre de Grace under the auspices of the Harford Agricultural and breeders Association, was held at the picturesque Maryland track from April 15 to April 27, and during the thirteen days of racing there were ninety-one races decided and .~ 2.415 distributed among the ] j participating horremen. The daily average I j distribution amounted to 1,724. H. 1 Whitney was the largest winner of the meeting, his horses accounting for six races and fUJUi. The Xalapa Farm Stable was m-xt with four victories and 1,575. Hock Man captured the richest prize offered, the Aberdeen Stakes, worth ,825 to the winner, and as a result tops the list of | j the horses. Sweeping Away, by virtue of ; victory in the Chesapeake Stakes and an i ■ overnight purse was a close second. J.
