DINKS GREEN was waited with until in the last turn of the field, then moved up fast while gong to the last jump, and easily raced into a good lead in the last eighth. DAN IV. was under restraint until in the last eighth, then responded with a lush when called on and was going fastest of all at the finish. SKY SCRAPER II. led for a mile and a half, but tired from making the pace. DlETTIESTK hit one of the jumps and. falling to his knees, tore a gash on one of his shins. CARABINIER quit early. OWEN TIDOR and LIEUTENANT SKAS both tired badlv. PHEASANT set the early pace, then raced in close attendance to the stretch and, racing into the lead again, won gong away. LITTLE BLAZE came fast t lire ugh the stretch and outfinished PRINCESS APPLE in the final drive. The latter, hard ridden for the entire race and finished gamely. but tired after taking the lead. CLRLER made a challenge on the last turn and finished gamely. GREEN BLAZES was never able to get to the leaders. BEST SHOT ran poorly. Overweight — Pheasant, 2 pounds. OQ-J Aft IHTRD RACE— 3-4 Mile. The latter was a forwadr contender from the start and outfinished SENATOR MORRIS. YAI.ADOR closed a big gap. but came very wide into the home stretch. HEELTAPS began slowly and was shuffled back. CANTER began slowly, but made a game rush after rounding the far turn and tired in the final drive. HARVEY STEDMAN was eased up when beaten. The latter was cut off at the three-eighths, where he dropped back, to come again after saving ground when entering the home stretch. SIR RONALD and MRS. FINLEY showed early speed.
