Among the latest applications for stall room at Hawthorne were from Ed Trotter, specifying that he wants five stalls and names John Finn, Post Haste, Bedford, La- throp and Corneraeker as the horses he is bringing here; F. P. Letellier wants twelve stalls and names Parole II., The Badger, Master Blue, Hysteria, My Best Girl. Pans Star, Carrie B., Generosity, Southland Girl, Lieu, Rust and The Franciscan. J. J. Holtman is another that seeks stalls and names Cherrycote, Hazel Brush, Pepper-I day and Silver Queen. A. A. Baroni applies for five stalls and names Sweetgrass, Pop-pina, Wood Cry, Cross Bow and Seths Alibi. C. Frank Croissant, who just paid 0,000 for Kentucky Cardinal, desires twenty-five stalls and he names Kentucky Cardinal. Bankrupt. Hoy, Quesada, Chesterbiook, lp-road, Duelma. Opulent, Colored Boy, Maximaneh, Purity, Miss Maizie, Orpheus, besides having three two-year-olds in the collection that he has not as yet named, and trainer Mose F. Shapoff states that they are negotiating no wfor additional handicap hones which will run the number up to dose on to twenty-five. He is to race all summer at Hawthorne, Charles Harrigan has applied for stable room for four horses and names Watchful, Coley McDevett, Mission Chimes and Tom Teller. Mrs. W. D. Millard asks six stalls for .Sway. War Zone. Atossa, Mt. Shasta, Sports-Jman and Lady Inez.
