IMPROVEMENTS AT MIAMI BALTIMORE. Md., May 7— L. A. Cassidy, the general manager at Miami, was an arrival from New York. He came over to witness the running of the Preakness. Work on the various additions and improvements to the Miami plant will begin next week and when completed the Hialeah plant will be the most complete and handsomest of any of the winter courses.
