Won easily; second and third driving. KIT CARSON, away well, passed CANDYMAKER after rounding the far turn and. racing into a long lead, won in a canter. CANDYMAKER showed the most early speed, but tired when the winner challenged. PLAY HOUR met with repeated early interference and was forced to be taken up. then came fast when clear. FLORA STAR ran well. RUNNING FOX raced green and tired. EVIL MAMA met with interference and had a rough race. PIQUE followed the winner closely and. coming on the outside when entering the stretch, finished fast and was wearing the winner down. NOSE DIVE ran a good race. BLIND PLAY began sluggishly. CARTOONIST set a fast pace under slight restraint, saved ground when entering the stretch and ontgamed LONG POINT in the final drive. LONG POINT followed the winner closest under restraint and. coming fast on the outside after entering the stretch, made a fast and game «*™"j but was tiring at the end.
