J. E. B1DWILL PASSES AWAY Popular Chicago Sportsman and Bacing Enthusiast Dies Sunday at Edgewater Beach Hotel. Joseph E. Bidwill, Jr., one of Chicagos most representative sportsmen and ardent racing enthusiast, died Sunday at the Edge-water Beach Hotel, where he resided for the last two years, since the death of his wife. Mr. Bidwill was forty-two years old and was elected clerk of the Circuit Court, an office he held for three terms, from 1904 to 1912. He was the son of Joseph E. Bidwill, well-known Republican leader. At the time of his death Mr. Bidwill, Jr., was head of the Bentley-Murray Printing Company. Mr. Bidwills wife was May Conncry, daughter of John T. Connery, head of the Edgewater Beach Hotel Company. He is survived by one daughter, Mary, thirteen years old ; his father ; two brothers, Charles and Arthur ; and one sister, Loretta Bidwill. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at St. Itas Catholic Church.
