Collinsville, 111., April 1. — The Fairmoimt Dc-rby, for which one hundred and sixty-nine of the best three-year-olds of the American turf have been nominated, will be run cm Saturday, June 1i», ax-cording to the announcement made by C. Bruce Head, general manager of the Fairmount Jockey Club, toda y. Included la the list of eligibles for this event, which carries an added money value of ?2-"«,000, is the sensational Carlaris, winner of the Coffroth Handicap, Tijuana Derby and other races during the Tijuana meeting. The great Pompey, Canter, Haste, Flight if Time. Timmara. and others that have proven their class on eastern tracks, with such outstanding performer* as Bubbling Over, Bag-e nbaggage. Boot to Boot, Golden Mac, Mantonian. I evon, Rhinock, Great Sport, Bookbinder, Chicago, Nurmi, Navigator, Roy-j crofter. Nocturnal, Dolly Seth, Champ de Mars. Torcher and Percentage-, whose brilliant records have been achieved on mid-western tracks, are likewise among the eligibles and prospective rivals of Carlaris. The Fairmount Jockey Clubs spring meeting will open Saturday, May 29, with the Collinsville Handicap, with ffi.OOO in added money, as the feature event of the- opening day. This stake will be at IhniO UUSllsiS. and the 143 eligibles will be announced Saturday.
