WITHHOLD LICENSE REPORT LEXINGTON". Ky.. April 23.— The license e-ommittee appointed by the Kentucky State j Racing Commission to govern the applica- I tions of trainers, jockeys, apprentice riders and authorized agents completed its work Thursday afternoon and the report was sub- i mitted by secretary Sherwood to chairman Thomas A. Combs, who said: "It will be necessary that I submit this report to the State- Racing Commission, the members of whie-h cannot all be together until one day the coming week. Therefore the report will not be made public prior to a meeting of the commission." At 4:30 oclock secretary Sherwood went to j the Kentucky Association course and con- | tarred with judge W. H. Shelley, racing sec- j rotary, delivering to him certain Instruction* relative to jockeys and trainers. The supposition is that judge Shelley was advised that if and when the names of certain jockeys were given in f w mounts they be told that pending action of the- commission they will not be permitted to ride-, the same to apply in the case of any objectionable trainers, if any such there- be.
