AKRON TURF NOTES AKROX, Ohio, June 29. Jockey Callahan, who suffered a broken arm in a fall during the spring meeting here, will resume riding at Maple Heights. It develops jockey J. Jeffries broke a toe in a race here recently and the injury will keep him out of the saddle for three weeks. Jockey H. Button was an arrival from Aueora and was seen in action for the first time here. R. Ileym purchased Zacca at private sal from II. K. Brown and he raced for his new owner today. Wm. Murray, who will do the slatting at the Niagara Falls meeting, which opens on Saturday, was a visitor. He distributed condition books among the horsemen and reports i that a number of horses will be shipped to I that point from here.
