The latter moved up fast when turning for home, took a brief lead near the end. but tired under hard riding. JOAN SH1RLKY set the early pace and finished gamely. TOMMY FOSTER raced well from the start but tired after racing into the lead. FETCHING was always outrun. COPEY BOY quit. RECIPROCATE finished with a belated rush. HARVEY STEDMAN. on the oiits.de of the leaders from the start tired after taking the lead at the sixteenth post. MARTHA MARTIN showed the most early speed and saved ground where posxible but tired. SPEEDY PRINCE slipped through on the inside on the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth. FROSTY BOY was interfered with on the far turn and was knocked back.
