TWO DAYS HUNTS MEETING • — — First Racing of 1927 in New York District Near at Hand. » Society to Tarn Oat In Force, Names of Box Holders Reading Like List From the Social Register. ♦ NEW YORK. N. Y., April 12.— Society and those who love the thoroughbred will be out in force at the spring meeting of the United Hunts Racing Association this month, for fine racing is promised by John McEntee Bowman, president, at Belmont Park Terminal, Queens, L. I. The first day of the meeting is Thursday, April 21, and the second day is Saturday, April 23. Many luncheon parties will be given and the occasion will be of great interest and entertainment to all who are fond of racing. Post time for the first race each day is 2 :30 p. m. Special trains will be run from the Pennsylvania station at 12:30 and 1:40 p. m., connecting at Jamaica with trains leaving Flatbush avenue station, Brooklyn. The terminal race course is in excellent condition for the opening event on the first day, which will be the Introductory purse for two-year-olds at one-half mile on the flat. The second race will be the Goshen, a hurdle race for four-year-olds and over at one and half miles over hurdles. The Initial Handicap is the third race on the program. It is for three-year-olds and over, at three-quarters of a mile, and it closed with sixty entries. The Biltmore Steeplechase is the fourth event on the program. It is for four-year-olds and over, at about two miles over brush. The fifth race, called the Nassau, is for three-year-olds and over, at three-quarters of a mile on the flat. The sixth race is the Turf and Field. This event will close the program. It is for four-year-olds and over, at about one mile. The box holders are as follows : M. S. Bur-rill, Henry A.
