AMY A. could never get up. There was a jam after going the first sixteenth when PRICELESS and SILVER TIPS lost their riders and OLD FOXY was pulled up. SEA FAIRY closed up fast and gamely through the last quarter and held the others safe for second place. THE FLYING FINN began slowly, but steadily improved his psMaaM and finished resolutely. COURSER showed speed to the stretch, then quit, as did GUNNY SACK. C.N» was much used in setting a fast early pace and tired badly in the last eighth.
