J S HAWKINS TO RETURN LEXINGTON Ky May 21 Joseph S Hawkins who for many years has been identified with the turf as owner and trainer came here Friday to attend the funeral of his friend and partner of twenty years ago John C Gallaher He stated that it is his intention to sell his property at Latonia and return to Lexington He likely will come back to the turf by buying a few good youngsters which he intends to train himself He already had taken out his license to train under the rules of the Kentucky State Racing Commission aa heretofore
