MUDDY TRACK AT BELMONT Snow Flurries Followed By Light Rain Stops Training- Operations at New York. NEW YORK. N. Y.. April 12— A muddy track and unsettled overhead condition put a damper on training operations at Belmont Park yesterday morning. Snow flurries, followed by light rain which stopped at eight oclock, kept the majority of horses indoors. No moves of importance were noted. Trainer Healey brought out W. J. Salmons Display for a gallop of one mile. The work was done over the training track and he ran the route in 1:51. Display was under restraint throughout. Petee-Wrack, which leaves for Pimlico on Saturday, was another that was given a one mile gallop. He galloped along in 2 :00. He showed a liking for the going and was under restraint throughout. The heavy rains of the previous night will benefit the going at Belmont Park. The track was drenched and as a result will be well packed down.
