OFF DAY AT BELMONT PARK W. R. Coe Stable in Record Run from Nashville to New York — Track at Its Best. XEW YORK. X. Y., April 19.— The W. R. Coe stable in charge of trainer John Lowe unloaded at Belmont Park Wednesday. Four three-door express cars were needed to carry the band from winter quarters, Cumberland Park. Nashville, Tenn. The horses shipped in good condition and established a new record for running time from that point. Trainer S. C. Hildreth brought out several sets from the Rancocas Stable for ight exercise. The horses appeared to be close to racing condition. Jockeys Fator and Catrone exercised several of the older horses in the stable. Training operations at Belmont Park today showed a decided falling off from those of the previous day. The track was at its beat, although a cold wind swept over the course rendering conditions disagreeable.
