AURORA TURF NOTES "1 « ■ $ AURORA, 111., April 30. According to word received here from B. Mclntyre, the shipping of his horses lias b - n delayed owing to the illness of two of the members in his stable. J. B. Theall has made an addition to his stable by the purchase of the sprinter Roy-crofter. Roycrofter was raced in New Orleans by A. L. Gaal under the colors of the Gentilly Stable. Owner, B. Berman, Chicago horseman, has five horses stabled here, with Bady d*Or, Tribal, Jlint Toddy and the crack two-year-old Royai Ruby in his barn. On Saturday morning Mr. Berman received the shipment of the three-year-old Iloni Soit from Maryland, a new addition to the Berman stable. Honi Soit formerly raced for J. McGee. B. Meripol, familiar in racing circles of these parts, has nine racers at Bxposition Park, among which is the good mare Mary O. of the E. B. Elkins stable. Mary O. is the holder of the track record for the one iuil.fi distance at Lincoln Fields. OwiM i" He ipol will introduce a new addition to the Jockey colony at Exposition Bark on Tuesday when apprentice Tommy May-will make his sadd.j debut. This lad hails from Black loot, Idaho, and has been galloping horses on various race courses for the past ye. i r, O. V. Ross arrived Monday morning frr m Xew Orleans, bringing the two-year-old Eiza Wason to be raced here. Jockey Y. Xoel got in from Lexington on Sunday. He will do the light weight riding here for the Applegate-tlaidner-Van Dusen Stable. J. C. Milam sent two horses from Lexing- ton to be raced under the supervision of trainer C. Iloubre. B. M. Holmes received two racers from Lexington to be added to his extensive outfit at Exposition Park. One of these races for owner J. S. Wiggins. J. D. Benahan, who raced a number of horses at Bexington during the first week of that meeting, has transferred his stable of six to Exposition Park.
