PROMPTER raced in close up pursuit of the pacemakers to the last turn, then came out into the middle of the track and, racing into an easy lead, won easing up. DODY HARD raced BINGLK STAR into early defeat, but could not withstand the winner. ALANS DAY was under restraint early, saved much ground on the stretch turn and finished well. TYPHOON raced dose up from the start, stood a hard drive gamely and outfinished SORTIE. The latter raced I into second place, was bard ridden, but was tiling at the end. SOLACE, in a jam at the start, elobed I a big gap and ran a good race. JACK HIGGIXS met with early trouble. PETEE-WRACK ran poorly for him and had no mishaps. SIN BEAD was crowded back soon after the start.
