ARLINGTON STARTER Roy Dickerson to Dispatch the Fields at Chicago Track Nearly 1000 Stall Reservations Already Received Most Promi ¬ nent Turfmen Represented The American National Jockey Club Wed ¬ nesday announced several items of import ¬ ance the first of which is the signing of Roy Dickerson first assistant to Mars Cas sidy New York Jockey Club starter as the starter for Arlington Park The naming of Mr Dickerson virtually completes the roster of officials for the coming meeting at the great northwest side track Mr Dickerson is well and favorably known among horsemen in the East and is highly regarded He will join an official body com ¬ posed of Christopher J FitzGerald presiding steward Martin Nathanson associate and Joseph McLennan racing secretary secretaryIn In addition to announcing the acquisition of Dickerson as starter some of the stall reservations of which there are already nearly one thousand were made known The applications include such well known ownea and stables as H P Whitney Rancocas Sta ¬ ble Glen Riddle Farm Stable Max Hirseh R T Wilson and W J Salmon Earl Sande Foxcatcher Farms Stable and others equally as well known knownThe The Rancocas Stable division which will be raced at Arlington Park will be composed of twentytwo horses under the care of John Lowe Hildreths first assistant This divi ¬ sion may include Leucite Donnay and Mel Foo The trio are all eligibles for the Ken ¬ tucky Derby and may be seen in some of the stake races on the Arlington Park program probably in the Classic the 60000 added threeyearold contest to be initiated during the coming meeting meetingDISPLAY DISPLAY MAY COME COMET T J Healey will probably be at Arlington Park in person to supervise the training cf the WilsonSalmon Stable which includes among others the great Display winner of the spectacular Hawthorne Gold Cup of 1923 Ten stalls have been requested for this com ¬ bined stable stableG G D Widener through trainer A J Joy ner has requested seven stalls As Jack High conqueror of both Blue Larkspur and High Strung in the Hopeful Stakes last year is owned by Mr Widener Chicagoans may get the chance to see the excellent son of John P Grier in
