* $ Chicagoans Are Well Represented in Arlingtons 0,000 Classic 4 $ Included in the list of eighty-five stables that have made nominations to the 0,000 American Classic, at one mile and a quarter, which stake for three-year-olds is to be decided at Arlington Park July 13, are to be found the names of eleven Chicagoans, who deemed their three-year-olds worthy to be named for the big race, which will reward the winner with approximately 3,000 and a gold cup valued at ,000. Local horsemen and horsewomen whose three-year-olds are eligible to compete for these valuable prizes include John J. Cough-lin. represented by Roguish Eye and Karl Kitel ; the Valley Lake Stable of R. J. and M. J. Nash, who also have a double entry in Crand Prince and Haymaker; John R. Thompson, Jr., whose recent purchase, Minotaur, is in the list ; Mrs. John D. Hertz, who has entered Nettie Stone ; Morris Vehon, owner of the Royal Stable, who has named Princess Edith; Mrs. Emil Denemark, whose Frances Milward is in the list ; Marshall Kield, who has Perkins as a representative ; Fr.-d M. Irabner, who will try to win with Windy City ; Mose Lowenstein. who entered C M. McKenna ; L. M. Severson, owner of Paul Bunyon, and Mrs. E. L. Swikard, who has nominated Chip,
