DETAILS ON THISTLE DOWN PIMLJCO Md May 8 Joseph A Murphy was in conference with the horsemen at Pimlico explaining conditions under which the meeting at Thistle Down would be held He received many applications for stable room and from the present outlook a most suc ¬ cessful meeting will be held at the Cleveland track Purses from 800 to 51500 will be given and on Saturday June 7 the Cleveland Derby will be run This race which will be over one mile and a quarter will have an added value of 15000 Nomination fees are 25 witli an additional 100 for starters The officials of the meeting are stewards J A Murphy II P Conkling and W S Lugee judges E Bury C McLennan and S Brown starter James Milton racing secretary E Bury clerk of the scales C McLennan paddock judge Sidney Brown patrol judge Tom Day
