FIGUEROA, outrun early, came with a rush on the back stretch and, although in close quarters, continued gamely to save ground on the stretch turn and wear down BIG TRAIL in the stretch and win easily. BIG TRAIL went to the front early and was much the best of the others. ADELAIDE N. was tiring and barely lasted to save third place. SANTERNO finished well. CAPILET, away slowly, soon raced into contention, but tired in the stretch. BLUE HORIZON began slowly and wheeled after the start, but was straightened out and raced many lengths back of the others.
