Who Win was close up throughout and in the final drive saved second from the fast-finishing Allegretto. Little - Toots, the pacemaker, gave up when the i real test came in the stretch. The races were staged over a slow but t rapidly drying out track. The weather was 3 hot and sultry. The attendance was of C average proportions. Taking command at once, Inferno Lad was s never headed in the fourth race, but he had to be hustled along in the final stages to withstand a bold challenge from Buddy Basil.
