ARLINGTON LASSIE STAKES Seventy-Two Fillies Remain Eligible for Valuable Juvenile Event, With Gross Value of About 5,000. The completed roster of the Arlington Lassie Stakes, one of the nine major attractions of the impending meeting at Arlington Park here, represents most of the outstanding racing establishments and promising juvenile fillies in the country, president Otto Lehmann said as he announced that seventy-two young lady thoroughbreds had been kept eligible at the final closing, May 16. With 0,000 added by the Arlington Park Jockey Club, the Lassie now has a gross pool of 0,230, and with fifteen starters expected to contest over the six furlongs distance at ,000 each, there will be more than 5,000 for distribution to the successful owners and breeders. The winner will receive all but ,250 of the total value, the second horse getting ,500, the third ,500, and 00 to the fourth, while the breeder of the winner will receive ,000, of the second 00. and of the third 50. Willis Sharpe Kilmer is the leading nominator with seven eligibles, and second to him with six is Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney. Other leading nominators of the Lassie are Audley Farm, William R.
