Lasker — Famous Sires Represented. 1 CARY, 111., May 22.— Ten colts and ten fillies comprise the foals owned by Mrs. John Hertz, which have arrived to date at her Leona Stock Farm near here. Two colts, by Reigh Count, leading sire at Leona and race horse of international fame, that came recently, brought about an equal division of the foals. The union of Reigh Count and Anita Pea-body resulted in a promising filly, the first produced by this pair as their other two foals were colts. The eldest is now a two-year-old and is due to come to the races this season under the name of Our Count. Fourteen other Leona foals this spring were sired by Reigh Count, including a half sister to Flying Heels, winner of the Pimlico Futurity and many other stakes, being from Heeltaps; also a half brother to Watch Him, by Watch Me, and a half sister to French Duchess, by Grey Duchess. Other sires represented among the Leona foals are Sir Gallahad III., which has a smart looking colt from Pan of Roses; Victorian, which has a filly from Adine; The Satrap and Last Reveille, which have fillies from Miss Begoe and Faucille dOr respectively! A filly foal, by Last Reveille, from Helen Betty is owned by Mrs. Hertz, in partnership with Otto W. Lehmann. Also at Leona are three foals owned by Albert D. Lasker, two of which are colts.
