SALES STAKES TODAYS 1 ! SARATOGA FEATURE . SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., Aug. 7. Saratoga Sales Stakes is the special offered j by the Saratoga Association tomorrow. This is a five and one-half furlongs race for juveniles, and as the name suggests, it is confined to those sold as yearlings at Saratoga Springs last August. It is at scale weight and had its first run- ning in 1922 with the names of several smart ones appearing on the winning roster. For this renewal the Greentree Stable is represented by Black Buddy and Spy Hill. There are nine named in all but it is well nigh certain that Black Buddy, with his stablemate will be the popular choice. There are nine in the promised field and another of the company is Cavalcade, Mrs. Dodge Sloanes Hyde Park winner at Arlington i Park. William Ziegler, Jr.s Bonanza is another good one that is engaged, and Wise Daughter, from the Everglade Stable, is included with Mrs. F. -Ambrose Clarks Wargrave, the only other filly that is engaged. Time Clock, a stablemate to Cavalcade, is another in the field.
