Louchheim was named for Elijah Lee, first vice-president of the Pennsylvania rail road, who died suddenly in New York on his way home from here to Philadelphia. Garden Message, which was withdrawn from the third race Monday, was worked after the running of the second. He was sent along for a mile in 1:44, handily. His fractions were :49, 1:15, 1:29 and 1:44. H. T. Archibald was an arrival from New York and will stay for several days.
