DETROIT PLANS HOLDING A FALL MEETING DETROIT Mich July 17 Clarence E Lehr president of the Detroit Racing As ¬ sociation stated today he is considering holding a fall race meeting at the Fair Grounds track starting the latter part of August AugustOur Our spring and summer meeting was such a tremendous success that I have had many prominent businessmen and others request a fall meeting said Lehr In the event we dp not stage a fall season it would be the first time since the Fair Grounds course opened in 1933 1933The The state fair was to have had use of the track for a trotting meeting but the associ ¬ ation was unable to book a grand circuit date and for this reason the association prob ¬ ably would be glad to relinquish the use of the track
