FRICK CRACKS DOWN NEW YORK N Y July 17 President Ford Frick of the National League an ¬ nounced his rulings yesterday concerning the fray when the Giants went into an up ¬ roar when a drive by Craft of the Reds into the left field stands was called fair by Umpire Lee Ballanfant Umpire George Magerkurth was fined 150 and suspended ten days for hitting Bill Jurges The latter was assessed a similar amount and also sus ¬ pended ten days for hitting Magerkurth Harry Danning was fined 50 for pushing Umpire Ballanfant and Manager Bill Terry a similar amount for failing to cooperate in handling the matter
