FAIRMOUNT PARK ALL SET FOR FRIDAYS OPENING APPROXIMATELY 1000 HORSES FOR MEETING MEETINGStables Stables of J C Ellis H Forrest E Albright and G Logsdon Arrive From Beulah Others Due Later LaterCOLLINSVILLE COLLINSVILLE 111 May 27 With only three more days remaining before the open ¬ ing of the twentyseven days of racing at Fairmount Park nearly every stall at the local track has been taken With the excep ¬ tion of less than 100 horses due to arrive here in a few days from Beulah Park all stables are accounted for and placed in quar ¬ ters at the Madison County track Some of the establishments racing at the Ohio track are not due here until the close of that meet ¬ ing this weekend and by Sunday the 750 available stalls will be filled filledAmong Among the establishments coming from Beulah Park are those of Aldrich Wirians H E Brown J Bronnenberg D Emery H H Fausett W E Harned D Hoffman Charles Hainesworth D Jardon S Jones C Lee L Munn C OMalley L Rodriguez George Stutts J Valone E E Watson Woodcock King A K Miller and J T Simmons SimmonsSome Some of the above stables are expected to arrive before the opening while others have advised racing secretary R A Leigh Jr that they were shipping part of their stables here for the opening and keeping the others in their stable until the close at Beulah Park ParkPRETENTIOUS PRETENTIOUS STABLE OF J C ELLIS ELLISThe The largest stable to reach Fairmount Park today was the pretentious unit of the James C Ellis establishment in charge of J D Lenahan which was transferred here from Beulah Park In the shipment were Always Glad Dry Ice Just Moral Kick Off Dublin Daisy Neleen Minute Hand Sweepy Alasweep Lambeth Way Nyla G and Sea Tower Also included in the Lenahantrained stable was Chicony which he trains for his brother C E Lenahan Other stables coming from Beulah Park included the one in charge of Henry For ¬ rest who unloaded Martha O Mt Sard Brevard Jockette Accurate and Just Buck and E Albrights campaigners namely Cap ¬ tain Jef fers Prudent Miss Leota W Mammy B and Polite Ann while G Logsdon brought Moisson Rescued Hearty Single L Morley Firth King Today and Single Horner HornerArriving Arriving from the Chicago area were the stables of Sam Gorbet and his son Glenn The elder Gorbet was in charge of Anna AVish Mere Blaze Grandmas Boy and Royal Put while Glenn brought Connie Sue Towson Speedy Valley Imperial Jones Jane pola and Johnnie Dear DearIn In addition to the 750 available stalls at Fairmount Park more than 200 horses are quartered at Harry Murdocks Creek Side Farm and nearly 100 others are in private barns in the vicinity of the local track In all Leigh should have at least 1000 horses from which to draw his daily programs with the bctterthanaverage horses filling his higherpriced claiming races during offdays Racing secretary Leigh is confident he can fill handicaps on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the meeting
