WALLACE HELD BLAMELESS BLAMELESSDETROIT DETROIT Mich May 29 After in ¬ vestigation by the stewards C A Bray representing the Michigan Racing Com ¬ mission Jack S Young and Harry R Allshouse of the Detroit Racing Associ ¬ ation jockey George Wallace was held blameless for the defeat of J L Wildes Show Up oddson choice in the running of the seventh race at the Fair Grounds May 28 s sWhen When the stewards questioned Wal ¬ lace and trainer H T Murdock they found that the ground broke out from under Show Up soon after the start and that it was necessary for Wallace to rush his mount along too fast to gain a contending position Show Up failed to stay after going to the front and after racing with Boss Hpss for threequar ¬ ters gave way and was soundly beaten
