SUSPEND TRAINER AND GROOM ON POSITIVE SALIVA TEST TESTTORONTO TORONTO Ont June 7 The saliva test by the Incorporated Canadian Racing As ¬ sociations analyst Dr G H Lucas of the horse Costa Rica owned by F Hammer winner of the first race at Long Branch on Friday June 6 1941 having been reported positive trainer L Ronald and the groom in charge of the horse George Powell have been suspended pending consideration of the case by the Incorporated Canadian Rac ¬ ing Associations committee at its next meet ¬ ing The horses Costa Rica and Worthy Duke which have been in charge of trainer Ron ¬ ald have also been suspended until the next I C R A meeting meetingAs As a result of the report of the analyst Costa Rica is disqualified as the winner of the aforesaid race and the purse is divided as follows followsFirst First Golden Silence Chris Stable sec ¬ ond Game Hunter T Davis third Sweep ¬ ing Flame R R Leslie fourth Simosee W F Morrissey Signed W A Hewitt I C R A stew ¬ ard and R W Hewitson J J Farrell stewards Long Branch Jockey Club Ltd
