LONG GREEN FARM PURCHASED BY MR AND MRS R DEFORDS DEFORDSSTANTON STANTON Del June 26 Long Green Farm the home of Mr and Mrs Victor P Noyes and a Long Green Valley estate near Baltimore was purchased by Mr and Mrs Robert Defords DefordsOne One of the showplaces of Long Green Valley and its vicinity the place consisting of 218 acres was purchased in 1937 by the Noyes and is located across the road from Three Cousins Farm The original mansion an old colonial stone building containing about eighteen rooms was erected more than a century ago It was modernized after being purchased by tho Noyes Besides the mansion there are a managers house three tenant barnsFor houses and large thoroughbred barns For a number of years the annual Long Green Valley horse show has been held on the farm Mrs Noyes owns He Rolls Arkansas Derby winner and other horses
