Kyne Is Making Plans For Meadows Fall Meet MeetTo To Apply for 60 Days of Sport Confers With Coast Officials OfficialsLOS LOS ANGELES Calif May 26 William P Kyne general manager of the Bay Meadows race track is in Los Angeles and is already making plans for the fall race meeting at the Bay area track trackWith With the recent approval by the legisla ¬ ture of a bill giving Bay Meadows an addi ¬ tional 20 days of racing this year Kyne plans to apply for 60 days plus the allotted charity days If the application is approved by the California Horse Racing Board and the military authorities the fall season will probably get under way some time in September SeptemberWhile While in Los Angeles Kyne stated he T would confer with Jack Mackenzie general manager of Hollywood Park and if the Southern California track is given permis ¬ sion to hold a race meeting he would co ¬ operate in every way and set his dates later in the year yearThe The president of the California Jockey Club which turned over a tremendous amount of revenue to the various charitable organizations and relief agencies of the armed forces is of the opinion that race meetings n Southern California would also raise a large amount of funds for these organizations He is most optimistic about his forthcoming fall meeting and stated the purse and stake program is bound to attract some of the best horses in the country countryKyne Kyne also plans to confer with the lead ¬ ing breeders of Southern California while here and also with chairman Jerry Giesler of the California Horse Racing Board
