Favor Present Claiming Rule RuleSTICKNEY STICKNEY 111 June 7 Horse ¬ men meeting in the clubhouse at Hawthorne today voted to leave the Illinois rule governing the claiming of horses as it is by a Vote of 120 to 90 So for this season at least those claiming horses will have to run them for 25 per cent more for at least 30 days The meeting presided over by Monte Weil was attended by 150 horsemen number of absentee owners voting through their train ¬ ers Among those who cast ballots either personally or through proxies were Hussell A Firestone Marshall Field A B Hancock John M Ilutchins and Richard J Nash
