Eugene Nimkoff and Groom j Suspended Through June 25 25NEW NEW YORK N Y June 12 The joint session on June 1JL of the New York State Racing Commission represented by Her ¬ bert Bayard Swope chairman and Ashley Trimble Cole commissioner and two stew ¬ ards of The Jockey Club Mr William Woodward chairman and Mr Alfred Hen nen Morris after hearing the cases of Eu ¬ gene Nimkoff trainer of the horse Ben Gray which was admitted by the trainer to have been injected with the drug novo caine just prior to the second race on May 13 and just prior to the first race on May 22 and the groom in charge of the horse Gus Dunn made the following ruling rulingEugene Eugene Nimkoff and the groom Gus Dunn are suspended through June 25 1943 1943The The matter of Eric Greedinger who ad ¬ mitted having made the injections has been referred to the State Department of Education for such action as may be justi ¬ fied for having apparently practiced vet ¬ erinary medicine without a license in the state of New York
