NOT TOMORROW was hustled into command soon after the break and, saving ground all the way, was ridden out to withstand GOLDEN COUNT. The latter was a prominent factor from the start, but lost ground on the stretch turn while easily best of the others. SHIP JR. was away alertly, saved ground all the way and had no mishaps. Won easily ; second and third driving. ORCUS, away fast and showing a derided liking for the going, raced under light restraint until the stretch run and, withstanding the bid of CALL TO COLORS, won drawing away. The latter came between horses and held on well, but was no match for the winner. MOONLITE BOBBY, taken in hand soon after the break, could not respond to pressure. SMOKY SNYDER raced wide on the turn and made up ground when straightened up for the drive. LAWS-YERSVILLE showed speed for half a mile and tired. Won ridden out; second and third driving. BLACK AFRICA was steadied along early and, saving ground on the turn, responded to pressure when VALDINA CHARM threatened in the stretch and. won ridden out. VALDINA CHARM raced WINDMILL into defeat in the first quarter, then gave way to the winner, but held on well. MISS FREEDOM saved ground rounding the turn and closed well. OAKING was in close quarters rounding the turn. GORNIL broke slowly and showed a good effort. WINDMILL tired after showing earlv speed. Scratched— 55733 Tsuga Bee, 104. KEY LARGO raced PAITURF into submission, withstood a determined bid by DRIVEN SNOW in the stretch while racing on the inside and drifted out in the final furlong under hard urging. BIT O BROWN broke slowlv, was taken to the outside •a the turn and closed with a rush. PAITURF saved ground all the way. DRIVEN SNOW moved up gamely •a the inside for the stretch run and tired. MY MALCHA was taken in hand after the break and, allowed to settle in stride down the backstretch, came between horses when roused for the stretch drive and won going away under pressure. THE CAPTAIN was rated in the early stages, moved up fast on the far turn and finished well udder hard urging in the drive. CHERE BRANDY sau! eround all the way and showed a good effort. CAB SIR took command immediately, held sway under restraint on the backstretch, but tired in the final stages. PHELLMOND was pinched back going into the far turn and was not persevered with thereafter. BLUE LINE also was pocketed in the jam on the far turn. FLEMINGSBURG was sent into command from the start, drifted out on the far turn and came again when straightened out for the stretch run. DIRECTION rated well and had no mishaps.
