Condition Books for Suffolk Meet to Be Ready Shortly ShortlyBOSTON BOSTON Mass May 6 Horsemen were today cautioned by O E Pons in charge of stalls for the coming Suffolk Downs summer meeting not to ship to the sea ¬ side course unless they have been officially informed that space has been allotted them Pons spent the day at Narragansett Park contacting owners and trainers and he reported that stall room as in the past is at a premium for the 60day Suffolk season which runs from May 15 through July 22 22Racing Racing secretary Charles J McLennans condition bodk now in the hands of the printer will be distributed among horse ¬ men before the end of next week said Pons He further stated that owners and trainers were in for a decided treat as they read the conditions and note the greatly increased purses The distribution will start at a 1300 minimum but this will be in ef ¬ fect with only the lowliest platers As claiming values rise the purses also are raised considerably and the complete over ¬ night distribution is far and away the greatest in the history of the local track
