California Board to Inspect Proposed Site at Puente PuenteSAN SAN MATEO Calif May 10 The Cali ¬ fornia Horse Racing Board will inspect the Puente site of a proposed race track within the next 10 days it was announced at the boards offices at Bay Meadows and within three weeks after that time will meet to consider its attitude toward such a venture ventureAl Al Uniack head of a group interested in the proposed Puente track and Albert Pearlson general counsel for the organi ¬ zation were advised to the effect in a let ¬ ter from racing board secretary W C Bu ¬ chanan which said in part partI I have been instructed by the members of the board to advise you that they will Inspect the real property described in your application for declaration on or about May 19 and that they will hold a meet ¬ ing of the board for consideration of your application for determination approxi ¬ mately three weeks from that date dateThe The board previously had announced it was opposed to the construction of a new track in California at this time
