Ttennob Scores on Heavy Strip at Fairmount Park ParkVictory Victory Play Completes Double Pena Continues as Saddle Star StarCOLLINSVILLE COLLINSVILLE m May 31 Ttennob a onetime handicap runner found a field he could beat in the opening race at Fair mount Park today and clicked in the five and onehalf furlongs event The track was heavy and the winner came down the middle of the track to catch Pandisco near the finish and register a halflength vic ¬ tory over the latter Daisy A the favorite finished third Daisy A was ridden by J D Jessop who rode three winners Me ¬ morial day The winning rider was his brother Dell Jessop JessopFollowing Following a large turnout Memorial day the crowd today was light it being esti ¬ mated that not over 3000 were present The Pairmount Park management pro ¬ grammed an allclaiming bill this after ¬ noon noonMarcos Marcos Pena leading rider of the meet ¬ ing had his mount Victory Play up in the last stride to win the second race The filly who was favored defeated Hooks the second choice by a matter of inches after the latter had led all the way The Daily Double combination of Ttennob and Victory Play paid 14660 14660Gold Gold Flag ridden by L Slape was win ¬ ner of the third race The distance was six furlongs and after getting through on the inside of Fabens at the halfway mark Gold Flag was never headed Myrna the favorite was second and Fabens third thirdJockey Jockey Pena made it three out of five on the afternoon in winning the fifth race He was aboard the favored Eva Webre and that sixyearold mare went to the front at once and never relinquished the leadership She won by four lengths from Hillfilly while Predictable raced to third place The distance was six furlongs
