State Revenue from Meet At Suffolk Downs Soars SoarsEAST EAST BOSTON Mass June 7 Gordon B Hanlon president of Suf ¬ folk Downs stated Monday that the Boston track had paid to the Com ¬ monwealth of Massachusetts a total of 70137610 for the first 18 days of the 1944 60 day meeting as com ¬ pared with a total of 44927632 for the comparable 18day period in 1943 This indicated Hanlon said that Suffolk Downs would pay to the Commonwealth from its 1944 meelinff more than 2300000 as compared with 160598418 from the 1943 meeting
