Sprinters to Dominate Todays Lincoln Program ProgramAll All but One Race on Card Willx Be Over Short Distances DistancesSTICKNEY STICKNEY 111 June 15 Sprint races will predominate tomorrows Lincoln Fields program at Hawthorne In fact but one of the eight events scheduled will be decided over a distance of ground That affair will close the card The sixth place on the list generally given over to what the racing secretary considers the most important event will be filled by twoyearolds Juve ¬ niles will also cavort in the opening race The other contests with but one exception will be at six furlongs The remaining race will be at six and onehalf furlongs furlongsThe The more important twoyearold event is named for the farm of J D Mikel prominent Illinois owner and breeder and of the nine named Lt Com W Montgom ¬ ery a member of the fighting forces of the U S A has named a double entry of I Demaweista and Fox Rime Last time out Demaweista made a creditable showing with such as Blue Skimmer and Lady Ken ¬ tucky while Fox Rime finished third to Alfa and Wise Admiral and defeated Best Effort Limestone Hollyman and Zumzing so it would appear that the lieutenant commander holds a strong hand Ci Light a winner last out Valdina Streak from the strong Marsch stable and Golden Count a speedy frontrunner from the W W Cren shaw barn are among the others othersThe The other twoyearold event is for maidens and will open the program Eleven will be engaged It will be followed by a race for fillies and mares in which Blossom Queen Etheldale Stage Door and some others who have been going fairly well will take part The third and fourth races each at threequarters are allowance events Book Plate and Itabo are the high weight horses in the former while Piplad may be the favorite in the fourth fourthGarden Garden Pot who has been favored sev ¬ eral times will make another attempt to break out of the maiden ranks in the fifth which will be for nonwinners exclusively Rockwood Lou and Sharp Advice may be the most serious opposition The seventh race will have Sand Storm Devils Frolic and the like as contestants while a field of six have been named for the distance affair which will close the card Ghost Hunt Farragut Royal Risk Doug Brasheai1 Dorothy D K and Kokomo will try the mile and eighth route
